MY BODY MY FESTIVAL

MAY 16-17, 2025 | Washington, DC

A music festival where

ABORTION ACCESS IS THE HEADLINER

and…

PRO-ABORTION RAGER

LOVE-OUR-
CITY GRAND GESTURE

DC STATEHOOD
RALLY CRY

STICK-IT-TO-THE-MAN CATHARSIS

DANCE-OFF
WITH OUR NEIGHBORS

…Are the opening acts.

Welcome to My Body My Festival, the all-things-local DC music festival celebrating our city and our right to do Whatever. We. Want. with our bodies—dancing included.

This year, we’re Raging to Survive: treating our righteous rage as a place of safety and power our community can always return to. Given the realities of living under a second Trump Administration, we know DC could use a bit of that energy.

My Body My Festival 2025 is our chance to recharge, refuel, and refocus on the systems which aim to harm us. All proceeds still benefit the DC Abortion Fund, one of the largest abortion funds in the country.

Bodily autonomy is on the line.

HANDS OFF OUR BODIES.
HANDS OFF OUR CITY.

My Body My Festival is part music festival, part DC love fest.

As a current haven for abortion access, DC is loud-and-proud about abortion. But while our neighbors rally around the right to bodily autonomy, we know that abortion access is never safe without DC statehood. When DC Home Rule is threatened, we are threatened—as are the thousands of people who travel to DC to receive abortion care each year.

Abortion is legal at every stage of pregnancy.

Zero parental consent laws.

All-trimester clinics.

The highest-caliber health care.

Give-the-shirt-off-your-back neighbors ready
to spread abortion access.

HOW ABORTION ACCESS

TOOK CENTER STAGE.

Rock for Choice was the first pro-abortion rights concert in the U.S., led by Nirvana, Hole, L7, and Sister Double Happiness. In 1991, in the wake of mounting abortion clinic bombings by domestic terrorists across the U.S.,  musicians united to speak out on feminist issues.

Immediately following the overturn of Roe v. Wade in 2022, DC-local jazz artist Alex Hamburger immediately held a for-cause concert at St. Vincent Wine Bar. The very next year, she scaled the event to a one-day festival at the Pie Shop on H Street. In 2024, we teamed up to make this shindig even bigger: a three-day celebration for bodily autonomy.

As DC weathers our second Trump administration, My Body My Festival has been preparing for our third year. While we’re not sure what’s coming, we know we’ll need our rageto rage—to survive. We can promise a spring of rage, love, and abortion access.

The dawn of abortion care dates back TO

the dawn of sex,
the dawn of music,
and the dawn of
dance.

Translation: Since the dawn of time.
